Here are some important dates for the 2017-2018 Masonic Year.  New dates and details will be added as they are released.

Thursday, August 31st - Guys Night Out

We will be kicking of the 2017-2018 Masonic calendar year with a guy's night out at Scoreboards, located at 10333 Northfield Rd # 88, Northfield, OH 44067. Join us for some adult beverages and fellowship!

The Summit Masonic Temple board is holding a clambake fundraiser to generate funds for the next maintenance project on the docket.  Reservations are no longer being accepted at this time.  Stay tuned for future opportunities to support the beatification and continued standard of good work on our lovely lodge.

Thursday, October 19th - Past Masters' FC Degree

Our Past Masters will be portraying the Fellowcraft Degree.  Presiding in the East is worshipful brother Russ Sypen.  The Senior Warden is being portrayed by worshipful brother Charlie Saxton.  The South will see worshipful brother Ray Schmidt as the JW.  All remaining posts are filled at this time by past masters of Summit Lodge #213.  Please contact worshipful brother Lee Pilous at (216) 310-8660 for more information or to volunteer as an understudy. Due to circumstances beyond worshipful brother Dave Wilke's control, our venerable worshipful brother Lee Pilous will auspiciously conduct the lecture in due Masonic form.

Thursday, November 2nd - Stated Meeting

Annual Officer Elections. Paper balloting is being used this year to solidify the line.  Come out to support your candidates for office!

Thursday, November 9th - MM Degree for T3

Our inspection degree is the MM this year, so this is not only a special night for T3, but also a great opportunity to polish our MM degree work.  Every MM should make an effort to clear their calendar and support T3, the FC team and all the officers participating in the degree work!

Tuesday, November 14 - Installation Practice

Installation practice, all officers required to attend.  Please arrive before 7:15 PM to ensure a prompt start and a snappy finish.

Back by popular demand, we will once again rendezvous at the Glenwillow Grille for fellowship, good food and clear liquids.  This event is for the guys, but if you want to bring a friend, the brethren will accommodate him! Saturday, December 2nd - Breakfast with Santa @9:00 AM

Get some pancakes and have the kids tell St. Nick how much they want that red rider BB gun at Summit Temple from 9:00-11:00 AM.  Flyers are available at the lodge for distribution to friends, co-workers or anyone you feel would make a good Mason. Alternatively, you can print the pdf document below, or email it to your loved ones!

Contact Joe Caprioletti at (330) 714-7193 or click on the link and fill out the form below to register and talk about which dish you wish to bring to our first annual potluck dinner and game night, main course, side, dessert, or beverage.  We are trying to avoid overlap and will attempt to accommodate everyone's favorite while making sure that the offerings aren't all potato chips and two liters of soda.  This will be an open event, so feel free to invite your significant other, bring the kids, grand-kids, and of course, any men you feel would make a good Mason!  No tickets required and the event is open to those who register and bring a dish that can feed at least eight people. 


Sunday, January 21st - Shoot Out at First Strike @10:00 AM - Cost is $25

First come, first serve at the First Strike shooting range.  Bring your iron and paint some targets. Here is a link with the location and guidelines. Contact WM Howard Mowery at (330) 527-4202 to make a reservation, reservations limited to 24 participants. To raise additional funds for our charities, we will sell targets for $10 in addition to the $15 range fee, the total for the day at the range will be $25. We will also have a best hand in the land contest, shooting at playing cards to see who can get the best poker hand in seven shots.  We will be going to Mange Mange, a nice Italian eatery, for lunch afterwards. If you don't own a firearm or ear protection, either or both can be rented from the range, and ammo is always for sale. Hope to see you there brethren and may the best dead-eye win!

Congratulations on the fine job all the participating brethren gave, thanks to Ashlar Lodge for their support and attendance, to all the visiting past and present DEOs, DDGMs, and of course, the MWGM, E. Schau!  It was great having all of you in our lodge to share in the light of Masonry.

 All officers and brethren recommended to attend as we will be voting on petitions.  Come early and stay after for great fellowship and a late night snack courtesy of our newly minted 25 year mason kitchen maestro, Rich Sypen.
